From start to finish your magazine will go through every department within our premises, as follows:

ESTIMATING
Our Estimating Team are responsible for sharpening their pencils to achieve the most competitive price available for your publication. We offer good advice and customer service and will go that extra mile to help. Your Estimator will be able to advise you on any aspect of your print requirements, from the paper stocks we hold in-house, to specialist papers, free samples, the different types of finishing, binding, through to the final mailing and/or despatch of your job.

SCHEDULING
We will establish a production and delivery schedule with yourselves to ensure that your magazine will be delivered on time, every time with good communication throughout.

PRE PRESS
We have one of the busiest Pre-Press departments in Europe with the very latest AGFA workflow technologies available. We will work closely with you, providing the required pdf-option files, colour-management and guides to make your file-setup and transfer a smooth process. PRINTING
Being part of the Stephen & George Group has allowed us to benefit from their continual re-investment programme. This is demonstrated within the Press Hall with five Heidelberg XL106 presses. We have one of Europe’s most modern sheet-fed Press Halls. Four of our five presses are equipped with the latest CutStar reel-to-sheet technology and all presses are fitted with Prinect Inpress control colour measurement systems enabling us to provide our clients with the highest quality of print. Prinect Pressroom Manager centrally controls every operation in the pressroom and manages the relevant job information and production data. Colour pre-setting data are automatically calculated by Prinect Pressroom Manager, which, at the right point in time, delivers them together with the job data to the integrated presses and colour measurement systems. This automation delivers a significant increase in productivity and more transparency in the pressroom.

BINDING
Our Bindery contains an impressive collection of equipment that showcases our finishing capabilities. For PUR and Perfect Binding we have a Muller Martini Bolero B9 16 station, a Muller Martini Bolero B9 10 station and a Muller Martini Corona C13 6 station. For Saddle Stitching we have 2 x Muller Martini Primera MC 6 station and a Muller Prima Plus AMRYS 8 station and for folding we have 2 x MBO LEMAN FOLDERS, 2 x Stahlfolder TH82-P, 2 x stahl PD82 6-4-2-Z, 2 x stahl PD82 4-4-4-Z, 2 x stahl PD82 4-4-2 and 1 x stahl BUH RFH66.

MAILING
The Magazine Printing Company are able to offer you a full mailing service for your magazine or publication We have invested in state of the art technology by purchasing two of the latest Sitma 1150 fully automated mailing lines. Combined with the Domino Bit jet inkjet head the advantages this equipment offers to our clients is the flexibility of additional inserts / onsets and provides the opportunity to print barcodes, Corporate IDs and PPIs directly onto the poly wrap, saving on printing carrier sheets or pre-printed polywrap.

DELIVERY
We boast our own fleet of delivery vehicles plus local contract transport in order to deliver magazines right across the whole of the UK. On time, every time.
